Choosing a Gutter Contractor
REQUEST A QUOTE
Having an insured gutter company makes the difference.
When choosing any contractor to do work on your home, they should be insured. If not, you risk being personally liable in the event of injury or property damage. The only way you can be certain that your contractor has insurance is to call their insurance agent and ask or have the agent mail or email you a copy of their certificate of insurance.
Don’t be a victim of dishonest contractors. Some contractor may offer to bring you a copy of their policy; this is an old trick of the trade that you need to be aware of. They start paying for the insurance policy at the beginning of the year and after they get the policy the stop paying for it. For the rest of the year, they make copies of their policy to show customers that they have insurance, when they are actually uninsured. Be sure to call the contractors insurance agent to verify the certificate is in current standing. View Copy of A.J.’s Insurance
